NASA Meeting May 4th at Radisson in Chatsworth 6-9pm
...a note from Merrilee Fellows, NASA:
As most of you know, NASA administers for the federal government about 20% of
the Santa Susana Field Lab (SSFL).
NASA is holding its first community information session
about its role at SSFL on Tuesday, May 4th, 2010, from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.
The venue is the Radisson Hotel on the west
side of Topanga Blvd. --9777 Topanga Canyon Boulevard-- between Marilla
and Lassen, in Chatsworth.
You are invited to this Community Information Session to learn more about
NASA’s efforts to investigate and clean up areas it administers at the Santa
Susana Field Laboratory (SSFL).
The meeting will be an open house format (arrive and depart any time).
At this meeting you can:
 | Obtain information about results of site investigations and environmental conditions at SSFL |
| View a series of displays on the site background, history, environmental investigations and cleanup, each staffed by NASA project team members |
| Have an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about current and future plans, and |
| Provide us the opportunity to hear your comments. |
We will be forwarding a similar notice to a broader list (which may include
you again) and posting advertisements in several local newspapers. I
will appreciate it if you can share the information about this meeting with
your boards, community organizations, interest groups and friends.
